THE SUPREME DEITY OF THE UNIVERSE is Yahweh God.  He alone is the Almighty, the Eternal Creator and Sustainer of the heavens, the earth, and all things therein.  The Eternal (YHWH) is God, and none other can ever be God (Deut.4:39; 6:4; 10:12). Yahweh is infinite, indivisible, and unique.  Jesus is not God.

In Genesis 1:1 (In the (a, what?) beginning God created…), we note that a sharp distinction is immediately set forth between God and man (in whatever beginning).  The context of the Creation account informs us that God is sovereign and man is not.  Man the creature is made of clay and God the Creator is the potter. Across the land, it is manifestly clear in every pottery workshop that the potter has total creative and destructive control over that which he molds from clay.  Just as the potter gives limited and dependent existence or "being" to the creation of his hands, so God formed Adam and breathed the breath of life into him.

The assertion of God's absolute sovereignty and autonomy in creation and salvation throughout the world is basic to biblical comprehension.  It is foundational.  The declaration of man's lack of sovereignty and autonomy is just as basic.

For those who accept the Holy Bible (Heb OT) as the word of God, internal evidence states that God is the Eternal Creator of all things.  For those who are unbelievers, this evidence is not sufficient evidence at all --it is merely a statement from a manuscript written by a man.  One must become a believer before one is able to accept and believe as true the words attributed to God.  How does one become a believer?  Becoming a believer—a true believer—in God may be as simple or difficult as you wish it to be.  God is interested in your heart.  He is interested in a change in your heart and a change in your lifestyle.  To attempt to believe in God with your whole heart and not change is some kind of an oxymoron—they are two mutually exclusive positions.  The first is the position of the believer, and the second is of an unbeliever.  "You believe that there is one God.  You do well.  Even the demons believe—and tremble!" (Jas.2:19).  Demons are believers in one God in the intellectual sense, but are spiritual unbelievers in the sense that they refuse to accept the supreme dictating authority of Yahweh in their lives.

Before you can accept the Eternal as your spiritual Father, HE has to call you into the fellowship of Jesus (Yahshua) and regenerate (stimulate) your natural mind.  Prior to this taking place, you are spiritually dead. Jesus: "Then he said to another, 'Follow me.' But he said, 'Lord, let me first go and bury my father.'  Jesus said to him, 'Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God' " (Lk.9:59-60).  You cannot come to Jesus on your own without first being regenerated by God, which is God's INTERNAL call.  (The EXTERNAL call goes out via the Bible and evangelistic preaching, for example, and is perceived by the physical senses, whereas the heart or the mind, the essence of one's being, perceives the internal call directly.)  "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord" (1Cor.1:9).  You, as a member of natural Adamic mankind and the spiritually dead, are unable to come to Jesus without God first awakening your heart and causing it to incline itself to Christ.  Your sins, an infinitely wide gulf, have separated you from God.  The spiritually dead cannot cross that wide chasm--the great divide--they cannot because they will not, and they will not because their hearts are not inclined toward God—they do not want to have fellowship with God or with Christ.

The purpose of evangelism is to put the word of God into their ears as a witness and let the God of all mercy give the increase to his congregation.  God can save all of us, even the unbelievers, if he wants to, but he will not do it against his will—God sets the borders of salvation, not man.  HE tells us who HE accepts; no preacher or priest can do that.

"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.  But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.  For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies and your tongue has muttered perversity.  No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth" (Isa.59:1-4). If the shoe fits, wear it.

Further, all people are not "children" of God—we are not "all God's children."  This is a lie put forth by liars.  Only certain people are true children of the Father.  "But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (Jn.1:12-13).  The children of God are only those who have been born again--those whose minds and hearts have been regenerated and resurrected from their spiritually dead condition (Rom.6:13; Eph.5:14).  No one else qualifies (Jn.3:1-22). Otherwise, we are all dead in our sins (Eph.2:1-10).  (Continued...)
