THE FELLOWSHIP COMMENTATOR is a FREE eight-page publication of Christ Fellowship Ministries (CFM) that is mailed first-class to each person on our mailing list, except for the foreign readership, where it is sent out via air mail.  There is no cost to you for this publication.  If you would like a SAMPLE COPY, please drop us a postcard or a letter and tell us.  We need a clearly printed name and address from you.  If after reading that copy or at any time, you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, tell us and you will be placed on our CONFIDENTIAL mailing list.  We would love to send you a copy today.  If you Email us at any time for this or other reasons, do NOT send attachments!  Our policy: We do not open attachments.  If you write to us about a subject we have covered, the Nature Of God, for instance, you would be well advised to narrow your focus and try to cover no more than three points to a letter.  When a person attempts to cover too much territory in one letter, points get lost or diffused in all the verbiage.  Here, too little is better than too much.  To be placed on our mailing list, all you need do is let us know.  We will not add your name to our mailing list without your request, and we do not distribute our mailing list to other outfits.

The Commentator contains hard-hitting meaty articles about various biblical subjects and in some cases, how they are being taught in some churches today.  We do not attack individuals (ad hominem), but we do confront people and their ideas and belief systems.  Unfortunately, individuals promote defective ideas.  And where belief systems are contrary to the Bible, as we understand it, they will be exposed for what they are.  We try not to hurt anyone's feelings or give offense, but sometimes that is unavoidable simply because most professing Christian believers stand on manmade doctrine and tradition for their substance and salvation.  And since intellectual laziness in Christian circles is epidemic, nay, pandemic, most folks in congregations will go along to get along.

We expose faulty logic and ignorant reasoning in the Commentator.  If a person is teaching corrupted doctrines as biblical or if he is simply a false prophet, teacher, or leader, we may say just that, and have done so in the past. Sometimes we name names, but generally this only happens where the problem is ongoing, systemic, and is affecting (and infecting) a number of people.  Believers are admonished to "cry aloud and spare not (feelings or persons)" so we feel obligated to boldly point out error and corrupted teachings.

"Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; declare to my people their transgression, to the house of Jacob their sins" (Isa.58:1, RSV)."

All people, including Christians, are permitted to err, to stumble, to believe a lie, to do any number of things, even to be downright stupid.  But when their errant messages are published in the marketplace of ideas as though they were truth, we have a right, indeed an obligation, to comment upon them and disagree, even strongly, without fear, and let the chips fall where they may.
