History:                      Founded January 01, 1995 as Unity Christian Fellowship (UCF) by F. Paul Haney, independent ordained minister of God (current CFM pastor). UCF Ministry renamed on August 16, 1998 as Christ Fellowship Ministries (CFM) due only to a serious doctrinal clash with the “Unity” concept and various “Unity” cults around the world.

Memberships:           congregation of God.  (See Disclaimer below)

 

Distinctive                 Yahweh God is one singular being (Deut.6:4-5; Isa.46:9;

Doctrines:                 Matt.12:29-30).  He is the only true God (Jn.17:3).  God is not a “family of Gods” as promoted by the Armstrongite Multi-God Movement.  Human beings will never become Divine or Gods “as God is God” or “God-beings.”   Jesus is God’s anointed and only begotten son via a miraculous birth; he is unique and was a human who was made immortal by God and exalted to the right hand of God—he was not a “mere” man.  Jesus never “preexisted” himself as a God, Logos-Word, God-being, or spirit-entity in any form. Not trinitarian, not binitarian (i.e., not polytheistic, not Armstrongite).  Reject Unitarian designation, esp. with caps (= Unitarian Universalist).  The Father will honor anyone who honors and serves his anointed and exalted son.

 

Sacred Names:        Yes, but not exclusively.  We use both styles.

 

Observe Holy            Yes.  Seventh-Day Sabbath; Passover (early 14^th Lord’s

Days?                        Supper), Pentecost (Sun.), Trumpets, Atonement, FOT.  No new moons.  Generally use standard Jewish calendar dates; we count Pentecost.
