CHRIST FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES (CFM) is a seventh-day Sabbath-keeping Christian ministry to the glory of Yahweh and Jesus the Messiah, an outreach ministry to the called of Yahweh and a "harvest" ministry.  We are NOT Seventh Day Adventists nor are we Unitarians (Universalist), but a seventh-day church of  God (Matt.18:20).  We welcome into spiritual fellowship all those who are genuinely seeking the Kingdom of God and Yahweh’s righteousness  (Matt.6:33) in order that bridges of godly love may be established and eventually extended to all mankind.

CFM is always open to spiritual growth and to new and better understanding of God's word. Therefore we search and study scripture according to Acts 17:11 and Jn.7:51, remembering: "He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him" (Prov.18:13). We seek to share with others, without fear, what we find and understand in scripture.  Perfect love casts out all fear (1Jn.4:18).  God is love (1Jn.4:8).

The Bible speaks of the universality of God's call and we note that Christ never added to this call of God's by suggesting an addendum as "…not at this time."   We realize that the great majority of people will ultimately not believe and that the response to God's internal and external call will not itself be universal in scope.  Most of the world will not listen—they do not have ears to hear (see our Study 55-A).  The visible church, the Elect Body of Christ, is not destined to be a huge physical entity.  "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.   Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matt.7:13-14).

Christ testifies against some professing believers:"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my father in Heaven" (Matt.7:21). He clarifies his point:  "Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in your name?' " (v.22).  Christ then rebukes those claiming to follow him but who did not do the will of Yahweh: "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!' " (v.23).

"But why do you call me 'Lord, Lord' and do not do the things which I say?  Whoever comes to me, and hears my sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.  And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.  But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell and the ruin of that house was great" (Lk.6:45-49).  Those who build their spiritual houses upon the quicksand of doctrine and tradition for salvation instead of on Yahweh and his Christ are doomed to fail.  Church doctrine, tradition, or the law has never saved anyone, nor can they.

Where are we coming from?  We're trying to make a difference in this world by sharing the good message of God via research and analysis, with as many as have ears to hear.  We believe that all doctrine must agree with the plain word of God in context.  We do not compromise this point.  We believe that we must have the courage to accept the clear teaching of God when it is presented to us, even if it strongly disagrees with an earlier view.  We are REQUIRED to preach and teach what the Bible says is the truth, not what we think it ought to be!  THE SEVEN LAST WORDS OF A DYING CHURCH: "We never did it that way before!"

We recognize Christ's present power and authority on earth, come from God: "Glorify your son, that your son may glorify you, as you have given him authority over all flesh..." (Jn.17:1-2; cf. Matt.28:18; 1Cor.15:20-28).  True believers should fear to deny Christ his due honor: "Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little" (Psa.2:12a).  (Continued...)
